There was darkness. Nothing but darkness.
I looked around to try and find out something about where I was, how I got here, and how I could get out.
Eventually, I just started to look. It didn't matter what it was; important or pointless, informative or void of information, I didn't care. I just wanted to find something. Anything that assured me that I wasn't the only thing that existed. Anything that assured me that I existed.

I drove home from work, thoroughly exhausted. It had been a very, very long day at the G.U.N. offices. When I had applied to work for the famous military division, I had naïvely thought that it would be nonstop action. Oh, how wrong I was.
